Russ Fisher's watercolor paintings reflect the rural scenes of a vanishing
America landscape. Subject mater is drawn from Charlottesville, Williamsburg,
the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and throughout the United States.
Picturesque barns, old country stores, historic sites and homes. He captures
the essence of it all. Now you too can own a piece of our disappearing heritage
or commission him to paint your own special place.
Russ enjoys creating in his Afton studio near Wintergreen and
Charlottesville, Virginia. He has received commission work ranging from
individuals requesting watercolors or fine line pen house portraits to six
sixteen foot Jefferson landscape murals hanging high above the lobby of the
Hampton Inn and Suites flagship hotel in Charlottesville. Russ has
also created fine line cards for many clients. His own dry brush techniques
give great emphasis to color and intricate detail resulting in an almost
photographic representation.
Russ markets his work through quality Galleries and fine art
shows.
